Why the Rain Is Denser
Ninety drops rather than the forty in the calm rain scene, falling faster and at a steeper angle. It reads as weather you would not want to walk through.
A Warning Worth Reading
This scene flashes. If you are sensitive to flashing light, or you have photosensitive epilepsy, use the Rain scene instead, or press the motion toggle, which stops the flashes entirely.

The rain, the bolts and the sheet flashes each run on their own irregular cycle, so the storm never settles into a pattern you can predict. It is all CSS, with no video and nothing to download.
If the flashing is too much, the pause button stops it completely and leaves the rain frozen in place. The scene also stops on its own when your system is set to reduce motion, which matters more here than on any other page.
